Since everyone keeps asking…

I will clear things up for everyone that is curious and asking about my (former) arrangement with Sell Gourmet Inc. For those of you who don’t know about Sell Gourmet Inc, it was a venture that I launched with a former colleague (from my first food industry job) last year. We both had some good ideas for a new business, and we decided to go for it.
Things went quite well and we made great progress in a very short amount of time. We developed a series of mini-sites to serve a few segments of the food industry, and even created a YouTube-esque site, Gourmet Food Tube. For our creations, we even received some great press in Gourmet News, CaterSource, and several food blogs & forums.
As time went on, I realized that the new venture was taking me away from my first (and most important) obligations; my retained consulting clients and my family. I had spread myself pretty thin and decided that I had taken Sell Gourmet as far as I could take it. Things were pretty much running smoothly (thanks in-part to a new Business Development Advisor that we brought on), and the timing was right for me to move on. So, I exercised my option to liquidate my shares and hand over the reigns 100% to the other founder.
Now, I am back to my original business 100% (and spending more time with my family). Things are going very well, and continuing to grow (with a few new things on the way - stay tuned!).
